Quo vadis Ecclesia?
„Behold, He stands at the door and knocks, waiting for it to be opened to Him (see Revelation, 3/20). He who hears His voice, the Sign of Attention, Word that brings the wisdom of awakening, life-giving Word, and opens to Him, will be embraced like the prodigal son and will be seated at the table of the supper. But those who will harden themselves, the stiff-necked, will hear the words of sorrow: „I do not know you.“ (Gospel of Matthew, 25/12).
But the Romanian Orthodox church, will it awaken, indeed? For fifty years the Lord has been calling out to it, and calling it to Himself, and still names it „My bride“, waiting in sorrow for it to be willing to awaken (see the Song of Songs, 2/7) to faithfulness and to obedience to the Word.
Church of the world! When, indeed, will you awaken?
When will you know Christ, Whom you preach?
When will you repent?
When will you become His, and not the world’s?
When do you intend to become Christian, first in spirit, and then in name? For you are not Christian even in name, since you renounced the name of Christ and called yourself the Romanian Orthodox Church, on May 6, 1925.
When will you prevail for the saints, taking on the likeness of a church of the saints and setting the feasts of the saints back in their place?
When will you become the True-Believing Christian Church?
When???
God waits in tears for the awakening of the church.
